Drummer Ian McKechnie hit a high note on Saturday.
He was married at Glasgow Cathedral to Claire Margaret Miles, the only daughter of Frederick and Susan Miles, of Fell Lane.
Ian, who serves with the 1st Royal Tank Regiment, is the younger son of Ian and Morag McKechnie, of Glasgow.
The bride wore a full-length ivory satin taffeta off-the-shoulder dress with a fitted bodice, heavily encrusted with lace and pearls.
The cathedral-length train was trimmed with lace and pearls, with a large bow at the back.
The waist-length veil had embroidery detail around the edges.
She carried a tear-drop bouquet of dark red and white roses mixed with freesias and ivy.
Chief bridesmaid was Heather Chadwick and the other bridesmaid was Emma Houldsworth.
They wore full-length off-the-shoulder claret satin dresses with rose-trimmed ruched hems.
They carried posies of dark red and white roses mixed with ivy and freesias.
Best man was Allan McKechnie (bridegroom's brother).
