Married at St Michael's church in Machen, Newport, were chartered accountant Richard John Twigg and chartered surveyor Marie Annette Gregory.
The bride is the only daughter of Max and Margaret Gregory, of Newport, South Wales, and works with DTZ Debenham Thorpe in London. The groom is the elder son of John and Shirley Twigg, of Bracken Mount, Silsden, and is finance director with Connell estate agents.
The bride wore a classic full length ivory satin dress with a pearl beaded bodice and a long scalloped beaded train.
The child attendants were Laura Hollings (bridegroom's niece) and Siobhan Colley. Bridesmaids were Bridie Tarbox and Ruth Lowrie.
The adult bridesmaids both wore red dupion silk dresses with ivory backed tartan stoles.
The child attendants wore dresses which had ivory backed, tartan bodices and red dupion skirts.
The best man was Andrew Twigg (bridegroom's brother) and the ushers were James Gregory (bride's brother) and John Tarbox. The Rev Paul Vann officiated.
