The Ingrow-based Vintage Carriages Trust Museum is among dozens of buildings throughout the region taking part in the national Heritage Open Days next month.
On the weekend of September 12 and 13 many buildings around the country which usually charge admission, or are normally closed to the public, will open for free. The scheme is co-ordinated by the Civic Trust and part-funded by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
Directories of all those premises taking part are available from Tourist Information Centres.
