Former Sutton woman Nicola Rawling is to sing a duet with international star Dave Willetts in a major production.
Nicola, 28, is among the cast of the prestigious Sing The Musicals concert which premiered last month in Leeds.
When the show is reprised on August 22 at the Internat-ional Musicals Festival, it will be fronted by West End star Dave. The singer, who recently spent ten months in Sydney playing the leading role in Les Miserables, asked Nicola to perform All I Ask of You with him.
Nicola will also provide backing for three songs during Dave's 40-minute set at the Buxton concert hall.
She last month became the first person in amateur theatre to sing the Les Miserables solo I Dreamed A Dream with a full orchestra. She was among 250 people who took part in Sing The Musicals led by chorus dir-ectors including fellow Sutton Amateurs veteran Sylvia Blackie.
In recent years Nicola has performed leading roles in amateur productions of musicals like My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls and The Sound of Music.
She has acted in dramas such as Wuthering Heights, Little Women and Cider With Rosie at Keighley Playhouse.
Her biggest musical role was Svetlana in a prestigious production of Chess at the Grand Theatre in Blackpool.
Nicola has also performed the voice of Charlotte Bronte for an American video and was an extra in the movie One Golden Afternoon.
