New developments at Keighley's Sunwin Vauxhall dealership in Worth Way have meant benefits all round.
Over the last six months the company has demolished a series of derelict old buildings in adjacent Longcroft, including a barn, houses, a shop and former air raid shelter.
Dealer principal Brian Nicholson says: "The redevelopment has brought benefits for everyone. It has improved the appearance of the area, and the open space means we can display 50 more of our wide range of used cars. It has also increased our customer parking, and resulted in us employing an extra salesman, bringing our workforce up to 26.
"And passing motorists have also benefited from improved road safety. The demolition of buildings at the junction of Longcroft and Coney Lane has opened up sight lines and made the area much safer," he says.
