The Internet is a young person's ticket to the world and now it's come to our very doorstep - the Keighley News.
With the chance to sign up to the paper's very own internet service, Keighley is sure to become a hub of up-to-date info and services.
Imagine it - the latest footie results, the hottest gigs and the coolest pubs and clubs - all there at the touch of a button.
Thankfully, our enlightened editor is a bit of an anorak and believes the KN should be a one-stop shop for information, be it from your own doorstep or from any part of the world. Very soon we will become a service provider.
But what does this all really mean to the town's youth? Apart from checking out sports and entertainment, you may think the rest appears to be dull adult stuff. Not so.
Being hip and happenin' means having your finger on the pulse and answers at the click of your fingers. This is not gained by glancing at a few printed pages. This comes from hours poring over reader-friendly web pages and groovy graphics.
It also means that youth issues can hit the headlines and be given a massive audience. The public needs to know, and it has a right to know.
There's only one slight problem. To get on the freeway, a few essentials need to be purchased such as a computer, a phone line, a modem and a service provider. But that's where your school comes in.
Keighley has gone global and so must you.
