A Keighley woman hopes people will help her adopted daughter track down members of her original family.

Lorraine Greenwood was ad-opted at the age of 17 months. Now that she has reached 30, she is keen to find out more about her background.

Her mother Joyce says: "We have tried to get information from Bradford Social Services but we have come up against a brick wall. Lorraine didn't have any brothers and sisters so she would just like to find out more about her family."

Her natural mother Joan Pascal used to live in the Collins Street area of Bradford, before she married Derrick Timberlake and moved to Suffolk.

Although her natural mother has since died, Lorraine is keen to trace any other relations she may still have.

Mrs Greenwood adds: "Lorr-aine has kept Pascal as her middle name and we hope that someone will recognise either her mother's maiden or married names because they are both quite unusual."
