Cullingworth parish councillors are seeing red over posters.
They are demanding an end to the posters which have started appearing around the village. The posters, made on bright card and carrying slogans about money-spinning opportunities, have been popping up around the area.
The flourescent cards usually carry a slogan advertising a money-making scheme with a telephone number beneath.
According to Cllr Bryan Hobson, the posters have been attached to street furniture such as lamp posts, all around the village. He would like to see Bradford council take action and remove the brightly coloured posters which he believes are an eyesore.
He says: "I would like to see the council take action and remove posters which litter the village like confetti."
a Bradford council spokesman yesterday stressed to the Keighley News that fly-posting is illegal and that villagers are entitled to tear down any posters from lamp-posts. The spokesman also said the council would investigate the problem if the parish council raised it with officials.
