A vandal-hit nursery is set to be transformed into a children's paradise, thanks to an Inland Revenue worker.
Culprits have regularly caused damage to the Keighley Community Nursery in Marlborough Street, causing misery to the youngsters.
But Pamela Shute, 34, of Thornton, has already raised more than £1,200 to pay for the transformation which will include security fencing, climbing frames and a colourful mural.
Mrs Shute who works in the Shipley office, decided to act after selecting to help the nursery as part of a work-related project known as Business in the Community.
The scheme which has its Yorkshire and Humberside HQ in Pudsey aims to get businesses involved with the community.
Mrs Shute said: "The playground was an absolute mess and needs a lot of work done to it.
"Luckily I have managed to persuade a lot of local businesses to get involved and many have offered their services for free or at a reduced cost, to improve the area for children" she said.
Last month she took part in a sponsored walk to raise cash for the nursery.
