Two girls who've been friends since starting school both scored A grades in all five of their A-level subjects. Sadia Ismail and Susan Trigg, who met while attending St Mary's First School in Riddlesden, gained their success at Skipton Girls High School.
Sadia, 18, of Halsteads Way, Steeton, obtained A-levels in chemistry, physics, mathematics, further mathematics and general studies. She will begin studying medicine this autumn at Sheffield University and plans to become a doctor.
Susan, 18, of Scott Lane, Riddlesden, gained A-levels in history, English, biology and general studies and an AS level in religious education. She will study history and politics at Durham University then hopes to forge a career in politics. Susan has been involved in the local Conservative Party and is the great-niece of Arthur Trigg, a former Lord Mayor of Bradford.
