The equivalent of 200 Keighley people have disappeared in the last two years - thanks to Weight Watchers.
In the two years since Weight Watchers launched its 1,2,3 Success diet, members of its five Keighley groups have lost a staggering total of 28,000 pounds, the weight of 200 people. Now, because of the success story, a sixth mee-ting is to open at the Conservative Club in Nor-th Street, at noon on Thursday, September 10.
Weight Watchers leader Maureen Slack, who already runs three meetings at the club on Thursdays, says: "This new meeting will be ideal for busy working people who can get along in their lunch break."
She says they can even bring along their lunch as long as it is part of the diet. Maureen says other people are equally welcome if the time is convenient.
Anyone joining before October 24 will get free registration and save £9.
