More than a dozen volunteer-run youth groups ranging from football clubs to Guides have benefited from grants handed out by a Keighley trust.
Holycroft Charitable Trust is at the end of its financial year and is now inviting applications from the Keighley area for this year's share-out of interest from funds invested when the former Holycroft Youth Club folded in 1992. Members decided to use the cash left over to help young people in the district.
Applicants have until September 14 to apply to Fred Corless, secretary/treasurer of the trustees at 151 Avondale Road, Shipley. They should outline the work of their groups and say how they would benefit from a grant.
This is an on-going project which will run for the next ten years.
