The sister-in-law of murdered Pudsey pensioner John Nutter today pleaded to his killers - "let me put him to rest".
Mary Skilton, 56, appealed for fresh information for the hunt to catch the three masked raiders who killed Mr Nutter.
They had burst into his home in Woodhall Park Crescent West on Monday July 20.
Mr Nutter, 68, and Mrs Skilton were both sprayed in the face with an incapacitant. He was beaten to the floor and Mrs Skilton was also attacked, leaving her with a head wound which needed 12 stitches.
It is believed Mr Nutter died of shock, although a post-mortem examination has failed to establish an exact cause.
Because the murder inquiry is on-going, his body cannot be released in case further tests are needed.
Speaking from her home today, Mrs Skilton said: "I would like to see the whole matter laid to rest so we can have John's funeral.
"Then I will be able to grieve."
Mrs Skilton said she believes there are people who know the identity of the killers.
"Someone somewhere knows who is responsible," she said.
"Please help, because one day it could be you in my situation. One day you could be a victim."
An unnamed organisation has put up a £5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Mr Nutter's killers.
Stolen in the robbery were two steel Rolex watches.
Police believe the gang responsible has strong links with the West Bowling area of Bradford after the car used in the robbery was recovered in Birklea Street.
The stolen dark blue-green Volvo car, registration L230 RWT, was found abandoned about an hour after the attack.
Detective Superintendent Stuart Hyde, who is leading the murder inquiry, said Mr Nutter's body was still with the coroner. Police appealed for anyone with information to contact the police. The number for the incident room is (01274) 376918.
