Boxing: Bradford's rising light welterweight Junior Witter takes another step towards a British title shot when he takes on Mark Winters in Telford on Saturday.
The bout, which is on the same bill as Richie Woodhall's defence of his WBC super-middleweight crown against British middleweight champion Glenn Catley, is a British title eliminator.
The victor wins the right to challenge current light welterweight champion Jason Rownd, who inflicted Winters' only defeat in 14 fights on the Ulsterman earlier this year.
Witter, who is unbeaten in ten bouts, has been in training with heavyweight Pele Reid as part of his preparations for the contest and believes he has the ammunition to see off Winters' challenge.
"It'll be hard because he's a good, classic boxer," admits Witter, "but I have too many angles, too much power and too much speed for him.
"This is my big chance and I intend to take it."
Woodhall meanwhile wants at least £1million to fight WBO title holder, Joe Calzaghe in an all-British showdown.
"I have always said that I want to be a world champion and a millionaire in the process," he said.
"But at the moment I cannot look too far ahead and I have got to deal with Catley first.
"Catley is a good lad with a good left hook and this promises to be a tough fight."
