HERE'S the Herald story which we have been dreading.
At a stroke we are bound to upset 49 sets of parents, not to mention an uncountable number of grandparents, aunts, uncles and family friends.
For this is the section where we announce the winner of our Bonny Baby competition from 50 delightful children whose photographs were published in last week's Herald.
Rarely can a story have caused so much argument within the Herald offices but our decision is that our winner is five month old Ben Wilson, of Driver Terrace, Silsden.
Young Ben, only child of Deb and Simon Wilson, was born on March 10 this year and now goes on to represent the Herald with all other babies selected by titles in the Newsquest group.
The overall winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Legoland plus £200 worth of spending money.
Young Ben has won our local prize, a studio portrait with our sponsors, Maple Leaf Images, of Sheep Street, Skipton.
All entrants paid a £3 entrance fee, all of which went directly to the mother and baby medical research charity WellBeing
