Keighley's Roebuck pub is an area winner in a Bass Leisure Retail national catering awards scheme. The pub receives £250 towards a staff party and a commemorative trophy, which will take pride of place behind the bar.
Its success follows a visit last month from a 'mystery diner' who assessed the overall meal experience, from food quality and customer service to hygiene.Roebuck manager John Kitchingman says: "We aim to lead the way when it comes to quality food and great service, and this proves we are succeeding."
The pub now goes forward to the national finals, with the chance of winning holiday vouchers worth £1,000.
