Keighley people have been warned to watch for a bogus Salvation Army collector.
A thief stole a collecting tin and warrant card from the back of a car parked outside Keighley's Salvation Army church.
Army captain Len Evans says the theft happened last Friday while the official collector was attending a funeral. He says: "I want people to phone me if anyone come to their door collecting for the Salvation Army and they are suspicious."
Mr Evans can be contacted on 603494.
