An inquest has been opened and adjourned for more inquiries into the death of soccer fan John Davidson, whose body was found in his car near The Guide Inn, at Hainworth, on Saturday. Mr Davidson, 32, of Highfield Terrace, Cullingworth, was a keen Leeds Utd fan and had played soccer for Cullingworth and Magnet in Keighley.
"He was fanatical about Leeds Utd and followed the team everywhere," says his father Berent. "We loved him very much and can't understand his death."
Mr Davidson had three brothers - Paul, 42, Steven, 40, and Craig, 28, and a sister Lesley, 36. He lived with his father and mother Mau-reen and worked as a industrial saw operator.
He was educated at St Joseph's school and Holy Family School in Keighley. His funeral will be at St Joseph's Church, Keighley, on Monday at 10am. The family wish that any donations are given to Asthma Research.
