Lord Rodney landlord Anne-Marie Vear toasted the opening of the refurbished pub.
The venture, a joint one between Vanguard Pubs and Restaurants and Anne-Marie, has provided the Church Green pub with an internal and external facelift.
Vanguard Pubs and Restaurants is the leasing division of Allied Domecq Inns and has over 1,600 pubs and restaurants nationwide.
Anne-Marie, who has been at the pub for over two years, hosted a complementary buffet for VIP guests, including Vanguard Pubs and Restaurants representatives, and pub regulars to celebrate the re-opening.
The refurbishment has provided the Lord Rodney with new fittings, upholstery, an enhanced and more spacious bar area and new disabled facilities. Outside the pub has been re-painted with new signage and lighting.
"The opening night was great and we are all delighted with the changes made to the pub," says Anne-Marie.
