Bradford & Bingley are looking to build on their great start to the season when they play York at home in their second North Division Two match tomorrow.
The Bees won 30-13 at Huddersfield last Saturday and another win would boost their confidence still further for the long campaign ahead.
They hope to have Richard Kelt returning at scrum half after recovering from injury with Peter Watts switching back from scrum half to No 8, but centre Hugh Gumbs is not available.
Fixtures secretary John Oates said: "The Huddersfield victory gave us the league start we wanted, but there is a long hard season in front of us and there are areas of our game that we will improve to ensure a good season.
"We are expecting a keen hard game against a side who have strengthened during the close season and are anxious to get started."
Bradford Salem, who are at home to West Hartlepool in North East Division Three. give debuts to three players. Australian flanker Robbie Flynn has joined them from Sydenham in Canterbury, continuing Salem's links with that club. No 8 John Hall has been signed from Otley and hooker Dave Kelly has joined them from Congleton.
Otley, who enjoyed a narrow 23-20 win over Rosslyn Park in their first Jewson League Division One match at Cross Green last Saturday, travel to Birmingham and Solihull for a league match tomorrow.
Wharfedale delay naming their side for their National League Division One match at home to Henley Hawks. Former Yorkshire prop John Metcalfe comes into contention along with experienced centre Mick Harrison along with James Ogden.
This will be the first meeting between Wharfedale and Henley. Wharfedale have lost only one home match in the league in 1998. That was against last season's champions Worcester in February.
