Plans for a new and improved Wharfedale General Hospital will be discussed at a Bradford Council social services committee on Thursday.
The proposals include the introduction of a number of services aimed at benefiting the community.
Care for the elderly is on top of the agenda with a 48-bed in-patient care capacity for people living in Ilkley and North-West Leeds. The beds will be provided in two wards which will also include therapy facilities.
Also proposed is a new plastic surgery outreach service.
The hospital already offers vital in-patient and day care surgery facilities and this could be extended to out-patient sessions.
It is also planned that the new services will require a two-theatre complex and a recovery area. A variety of new clinics are mentioned which include paediatric surgery.
