Guests waited anxiously for an hour for Spice Girl Mel B to arrive at her wedding - according to the bride's aunt Di Cooke.
Di, 41, of Menston, spoke for the first time today how bridegroom Jimmy Gulzar had stood helpless waiting for Mel at the church in Buckinghamshire village of Little Marlow last weekend.
Di said: "He was getting anxious and people were wondering what was going on.
"But when she came in we just gasped, she looked incredible."
Di had been driven down to the wedding with her two sons Alex, 13, and Christian, 11, and was put up in the five star Metropole Hotel in London the night before.
After witnessing the ceremony the guests were ushered into a marquee decked with candles and a giant gold Buddha to eat and watch Indian dancers.
"I could never imagined I'd have gone to such an amazing wedding. She couldn't have had much left out of a million pounds.
Di, who works in Guiseley, said despite the wedding's grandeur, it was like a traditional family event. "We all know each other and I know all the Spice Girls from before they made it and lived together.
"David Beckham was there with Victoria but he's really quiet and shy. You wouldn't know he was there".
