A Bradley cyclist has died following an accident on the A59 near the Black Bull, Broughton.
Callum Kirkpatrick, 26, of Ings Lane, suffered serious head injuries in the accident. He died in Leeds General Infirmary on Wednesday.
North Yorkshire police say Mr Kirkpatrick was riding his bike out of Skipton last Thursday afternoon when, it is understood, he turned right and was in collision with a Land Rover travelling in the opposite direction. It was driven by Muriel Clarke, 70, from Thornton-in-Craven, who was unhurt.
Meanwhile, a 26-year-old man - who recently moved to Carleton from Bradley - died suddenly at his home on Saturday.
A North Yorkshire police spokesman says Andrew Heseltine was found at his home and there were no suspicious circumstances.
A post-mortem has been held at Airedale Hospital and the North Yorkshire coroner has been informed. Mr Heseltine leaves his parents - Jackie and Paul - younger brothers Simon and James and sister Rebecca.
