Time is running out for youth groups wishing to apply this year for a cash handout from the Holycroft Charitable Trust.
Organisations in the Keighley area wanting to apply for a grant must submit their applications by Monday. Many volunteer-run youth organisations - from football clubs to the Scouts - have benefited from grants in the past.
The trust is at the end of its financial year and is sharing out the interest from funds invested when the town's former Holycroft Youth Club folded in 1992. Members decided then to use the cash left over to help young people in the district.
Applicants should write to Fred Corless, secretary/treasurer of the trustees at 151 Avondale Road, Shipley, outlining the work of their group and how the grant would benefit it. Replies will be sent to all applicants.
