Bradford City's top scorer Lee Mills could be set for a return in tomorrow's Yorkshire derby with Barnsley.
The Bantams striker missed his first game of the season in the midweek 3-1 victory over Halifax Town after being struck down by illness.
However, Mills has returned to training and is included in the squad to face John Hendrie's side at Valley Parade tomorrow.
Manager Paul Jewell said: "Lee was hit by the same bug that laid John Dreyer low for the match at West Brom.
"It has hit a few people, with both Jamie Lawrence and Ashley Westwood suffering a bit.
"Stuart McCall and Peter Beagrie have also been hit, but I expect them both to be fit.
"That is the problem with a bug like this at a football club - it spreads quite easily. I gave the players yesterday off to try and prevent it spreading further.
"Lee was back in training though, and I am confident he will be in the squad for the game with Barnsley."
Midfielder Nigel Pepper is the only injury doubt from the side that beat Halifax on Tuesday after receiving a kick on the ankle.
Mills' fellow striker Isaiah Rankin is also back in contention for tomorrow's game, although Jewell gives him only a 50 per cent chance of recovering from the ankle injury he sustained at West Brom.
City face a Barnsley side who are full of confidence following the 4-0 drubbing they handed to Terry Venables' Crystal Palace side last weekend.
Jewell watched that game and knows it will be a tough test for his side, who have now lost just one in six games and won three in succession.
He said: "They are a very, very good side and played well against Palace. They have some quality players, but, having said that, so do we. It should be a very good game for the fans.
"Chris (Hutchings, City assistant boss) went to watch them on Wednesday at Reading as well and said they played OK."
Jewell arrived at City in 1988 just four days after Hendrie left and says he has only got to know the Scot in subsequent years.
The City boss said: "We are both learning the ropes, but I am sure he is enjoying the job as much as I am.
"Unfortunately he had just left the club when I arrived, but I have met him a few times since then at functions."
