A Keighley teenager's award-winning short film will be shown next month at a prestigious international festival.
Kelly Wood, 17, made her animated film 'Dogs on Death Row' after reading about cruelty in animal pounds in Taiwan.
The movie was chosen for the final screening of the Co-operative Young Film Makers competition to be held in London on October 10.
Kelly was among 346 entrants from across Europe who vied for a place in the Co-operative contest with films tackling a range of contemporary issues. Judges praised Kelly's visual effects, imaginatively-conveyed message and promising animation techniques.
Other winning entries were made by children aged eight to 18. Kelly's film will be part of a set that are unsuitable for young audiences.
