Keighley College students were praised for their work by principal Doug Hardaker at a property care awards ceremony.
A wide range of certificates was presented at the event, at the college's Harold Town buildings. Guests included Airedale NHS Trust chief executive Robert Allen and his deputy Janet Crouch, senior managers and school head-teachers.
Presented were ASET certificates in caretaking and site management, hospitality awards to Airedale NHS Trust staff, and concierge certificates to Bradford council housing employees who had completed a specially-developed course.
The college, in partnership with Bradford council, is a field leader in property care and personal safety training. Its expertise is sought by local councils and education authorities throughout the UK as well as by national government departments.
Award winners were: Certificate in Site Management - Trevor Wright, William Somma, Debbie Thornton, Dorothy Ball, David Flanagan, Stephen Wright, Kenneth Margurum, Keith Miller and Stuart Barraclough; Hospitality Award - Pat Reynolds, Helen Thompson, Betty Johnson, Christine Boothman, Wendy Layard and Michele Cooke; Certificate in Concierge Operations - Robert Poole, Charles Jordan. Frank Jemiyo, John Leggo and David Crossan. Certificate in Caretaking - Susan Holland, Stephen Gudgeon, Brian Webster, Philip Powell, Stephen Mullen, Francis Ibbotson, Stuart Barraclough, Christopher Long and Stuart Smith.
