Tickets are now on sale for our third fashion show.
and local young people are entering our competition to take part in the event.
After the huge success of our most recent show in April we have decided to hold another one, featuring a dazzling display of the latest autumn/winter styles, colours and materials.
We intend to make this show - at Keighley's Victoria Hall on Thursday, october 1, starting at 7.30pm - even better than previous shows. Local businesses and shops will have the chance to promote their clothes at the show. Otley-based Ravish Productions is to have a hand in selecting garments and will provide the models.
Taking part in the show will be the six finalists of this season's Keighley News Search for a Model contest who will have the chance to strut their stuff. One lucky winner will be chosen as our top model.
To enter the model competition, contenders should fill in the form on the right and send it with two photographs of yourself (preferably one head-and-shoulders and one full-length) to: Katie Frearson, KN Search for a Model, Keighley News, 80-86 North Street, Keighley, West Yorkshire BD21 3AG. Please write your name on the back of the photos. Both males and females are welcome to enter. You must be at least 16 years old on October 1. The deadline for competition entries is Tuesday, September 22. We will select the six to appear at the show. So, get snapping!
The Keighley News is planning to publish a special fashion show supplement on Friday, September 25.
