County Amateurs: Fields, who won three of their first four games in the Mumtaz Premier Division slipped to their third defeat in four games, going down 3-2 at home to Halifax Irish.
Striker Shaun Walsh put the visitors in front against the run of play after 30 minutes - an advantage they held until the first minute of the second period when Barry Dunne equalised.
Peter Mumby put the home side ahead for the first time with 15 minutes remaining, only for Walsh to equalise within four minutes. With both sides looking for the winner, Walsh completed his hat-trick with a strike in the 89th minute to secure the points for the Irishmen.
Brighouse Town strengthened their grip at the top and extended their unbeaten run to eight games with a 3-0 home victory over bottom- placed Pontefract Borough.
Second-placed Tyersal had to settle for a point in their derby with Wibsey. Russell Taylor equalising after 30 minutes for Tyersal after Gary Owen had given the visitors the lead on 15 minutes. A 1-1 draw was of little help to either side, Tyersal slipping to three points behind Brighouse, while Wibsey stay in the bottom two still looking for their first victory.
Crag Road United's defence was given the run around by Storthes Hall, who netted six times without reply, Jamie Miller (3) and Ian Tunnicliffe (2) leading the way.
Keighley-based Phoenix, in their first season in the top flight, showed they are more than capable of holding their own with a 3-0 home victory over last season's top scorers Hems-worth Miners Welfare.
Otley Town slipped three places in Division One after going down 4-1 at Ventus-Yeadon, Ian Wolfenden netted from the spot to give Town an early advantage, but the Dam Lane side - without a league victory to their name this season - hit back with goals from Keith Turner (2), Gary Clifford and an unstoppable 25-yard free kick from Frank Vento.
Salt Old Boys slipped to their first home defeat of the season 2-1 against Littletown, who netted in the 89th minute through Julian Ryder, after Martin Crossley had equalised for Littletown following Mike Brierely's opener.
Dudley Hill Athletic dropped a point in the last minute at Hall Green United, Chris Callaghan grabbing the equaliser after Mark Papworth and Andy Dimbleby had given Hill a 2-1 advantage, following Mick Sunderland's early strike for the home side. Huddersfield side Bay Athletic extended their unbeaten start, and lead the way at the top after a 2-0 victory at Overthorpe.
Pudsey Liberals are still seeking their first win of the season after going down 2-1 at Altofts. Graham Sanderson put the Pudsey side ahead in the first half, atoning for his earlier penalty miss. Andy Grindle and Des Brannan netted for Altofts in the second half to leave Pudsey at the foot of the division.
Dudley Hill Rangers made it seven victories from as many league games in Division Two, striker Steve Blackett netting four, further goals from Ian Walker and Andy Tudor accounting for a 6-1 win at Westbrook Wanderers.
Hunsworth lead the way in Division Three, Chad Wasley netting all three as they beat Cam-pion Reserves 3-1.
