Bradford firms are being urged to take up places on a course set up to boost business performance.
The course aims to help companies make the most of their recruitment and selection. It is targeted at human resources and personnel managers working with small and medium sized businesses in Bradford's Objective 2 area.
The free course is called Managing Diversity In The Workplace and is funded by Bradford & District Training & Enterprise Council and the European Social Fund. Bradford Chamber of Commerce is also one of the partners.
It involves a three-hour training session each month at the Carlisle Business Centre and begins on October 27.
Among the companies who have already enrolled on the course are Filtronic, Woolcombers, Dixons CTC, and the Bradford Health Authority.
There are still a number of places left but firms are now being urged to register as soon as possible.
Rehana Ahmed, the TEC's Equal Opportunities Advisor, said: "The course is essentially about managing a multi-cultural workforce.
"It is important that local employers are in a position to make the most of the superb opportunity to maximise the potential of employing a well-trained multi-cultural workforce."
Companies who would like to register or find out further details should contact Rehana Ahmed at the TEC on Bradford 751314.
