Bradford City have been offered 5,500 tickets for their Worthington Cup clash with neighbours Leeds United - but have vowed to try and get more.
The two West Yorkshire sides were paired together in Saturday's third round draw and City chief Geoffrey Richmond immediately said the club would need 15,000 tickets to satisfy demand for the game at Elland Road on Wednesday, October 28.
Richmond spoke to his Leeds counterpart Peter Ridsdale yesterday and the two clubs have agreed on a pricing structure for the game.
Tickets will be £15 (concessions £10) with family packages available for two adults and two children at a price of £35.
Richmond said: "I talked to Peter when he was flying back from Madeira following Leeds' UEFA Cup tie with Maritimo.
"We agreed the prices, which are substantially lower than normal prices for league games.
"However he also told me that the maximum allocation they can give a visiting side is 5,500. I explained to him that I felt this was significantly under what our demand would be.
"He said that Leeds would look at the points I have made. He agreed with me that the game will probably be a full house as they have already received a lot of interest in the game."
Meanwhile, City have announced that their pioneering 'Kids for a Quid' scheme will return for the forthcoming home game against Bury.
Neil Warnock brings his side to Valley Parade on Friday, October 9 and the City chief said: "We were the first club to launch such a scheme which has been repeated all around the country.
"Of course we subsequently developed this idea for our junior season tickets but for the Bury game, we have decided to reintroduce it.
"We want to ensure that the team gets as good a backing as possible for such an important game."
Bradford City Reserves let a 3-0 half time lead slip and had to settle for a 3-3 draw against Rotherham United at rain-lashed Valley Parade yesterday.
Gareth Grant scored in the first minute and Edinho, and Daniel Verity added further goals before the interval.
After the break Steve Thompson, David Baff and Richard Tracey levelled.
City youngster Lewis Emmanuel will play for England under-15s against Wales at Wrexham tomorrow. The match is being televised live on Sky Sports 3.
