Bradford Bulls are awaiting expert medical guidance before deciding whether inspirational hooker James Lowes lines-up when the race for Grand Final glory at Old Trafford goes into overdrive at St Helens tomorrow night.
Last season's Super League player-of-the-year is still hopeful of facing the in-form Saints at Knowsley Road and his inclusion would be a major boost.
"We need to clarify matters with the medical people before deciding what to do," said Bulls coach Matthew Elliott who is already without Lowes' possible stand-in Bernard Dwyer who has shoulder trouble.
Lowes was helped off against Wigan on September 20 after suffering concussion and missed last Sunday's win over Salford.
Elliott hoped to name his team after training today with doubts still surrounding several players.
