Sunday Alliance: With only one point so far and having conceded 25 goals in six games, Premier Division basement side Fairweather Green were decided underdogs in their clash with champions and current leaders Oakenshaw.
Oakenshaw were below usual form and, although they led in the 60th minute from Craig Lawford, Green produced a shock result when 46-year-old manager Brian Womersley came on as sub to flick on for Kent Noble to equalise.
Queensbury came from 3-2 down to record their biggest win, beating Sandy Lane 6-3, Darren White and Martin Bland each scoring braces. Hudsons found difficulty in holding the front pair of Lee Elam and Craig Bower who shared three goals as Albion returned to winning ways by 4-0.
Another draw - 1-1 at Victoria Rangers - earned Ventus their third point of the season, Dale Hoyle scoring for the third game in succession. For the second week running, Bolton Woods were 2-1 winners over Brown Cow, penalty king Mick Burdett sealing the points from the spot.
In the First Division, Peel Park sailed 3-0 in front against Calverley Victoria, whose two goals in the last 20 minutes made for a frantic ending. Calverley missed first half chances.
Trevor Parr made a pleasing defensive debut and Darren Larner had an excellent game at left back in Queens' 3-1 win over Chellow. Charlie Hainsworth scored twice for the winners, Chellow getting a late consolation penalty through Paul Maltby.
For leaders Milestone, Martin Kerins is proving a useful signing. The big man scored twice as they kept their 100 per cent record intact with a 5-3 win over East Ward.
Debutant Mansoor Hussain hit a hat-trick for Wibsey WMC, who won 5-2 at Bradford YSA. It was Wibsey's first win of the season after opening with three draws.
Billy Payton had a debut goal for Crown in their 2-2 draw at Green Man, whose goals, including a penalty, came from leading scorer Ian O'Grady.
Stanley Road stay hot on Milestone's trail, their 7-2 win over West Bowling taking their goal tally to 25 in four games. Simon Parke had a two-goal debut and stand-in keeper Peter Craven saved a penalty.
Eccleshill United Reserves, with four new signings, recorded their first win in Division 1A, toppling leaders Bowling Hotel 6-3. Debutants Ryan Dean (2) and Nicky Hird made the score sheet, and there was a goal for Scott Price, made by his father Ray in a one-two. Bay Horse returned to winning ways with a 5-2 victory at Undercliffe CC, Steve Reynier again being on target with a double strike.
White Eagles had another disappointing result in Division 1B, putting through their own goals in the 70th minute against Royal Oak after there had been nothing between the sides.
