Joint Thackley manager Greg Abbott is relishing a return to Nethermoor for tonight's FA Cup second qualifying round replay against Guiseley.
The former Bradford City favourite quit as assistant manager to the UniBond Premier Division outfit in the spring and would love to beat them and clinch a home tie against Penrith or Chorley.
The two sides drew 1-1 at Dennyfield on Saturday and Abbott said: "They could have killed us off then but we didn't deserve to lose.
"It's good for the club that we have another big game.
"My players won't freeze because they are playing a couple of miles up the road.
"In fact we have more belief that we can win after Saturday's performance. After the second half in that game Guiseley certainly won't be looking forward to tonight.
"I know they didn't take the game lightly but they now know we are a better side than they first thought."
Guiseley manager Bobby Davison said: "I have not even looked at the draw for the next round, it means nothing at this stage. We have got a tough game tonight and that is what we must concentrate on.
"I am disappointed that we didn't get through on Saturday because I thought we had the best chances. Three of those came to me and the first two I should have done better with.
"The third went in but we were called back and there's nothing you can do about that. The linesman is in the best position to see across the line and if he says it's offside then it is. It doesn't count and that's all there is to it."
Both managers will select from unchanged squads tonight.
Eccleshill United are also in action tonight, they face a visit from Selby Town in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division. They will be hoping to put Saturday's 1-0 home defeat behind them but have selection problems.
Forward Dave Rushby, who was the pick of the side in the 1-0 reverse to Glasshoughton, keeper Graeme Waterworth and midfielder Kevin Megson are unavailable and Cameron Kerin is injured. Former Bradford City youth keeper Craig Bates makes his league debut for Eccleshill.
