Bradford City have made a final demand for more tickets for their Worthington Cup tie with Leeds United.
The Bantams received an allocation of 5,500 tickets for the tie on Wednesday, October 28, but these are likely to sell out soon after going on general sale tomorrow morning.
When the draw was made, City chairman Geoffrey Richmond initially said the club would need 15,000 tickets to satisfy demand. But, acting on police advice, United ruled that the City fans would be accommodated in the South Stand and the South East corner of Elland Road.
Richmond said: "The rate at which we have been selling the tickets to season-ticket holders means our allocation will be sold out tomorrow morning.
"Season ticket holders have until the end of today to claim their tickets and I envisage a very limited number remaining when they go on general sale tomorrow.
"We have been inundated with requests from fans without season tickets. For that reason, we are making one last effort to try and increase our allocation."
Supporters are warned that tickets will be available by personal application only from tomorrow, limited to two per person or one family ticket.
