Bradford City received a boost last night with the return of defender Ashley Westwood after injury.
He played 68 minutes of an entertaining reserve clash at Huddersfield Town which City lost 5-0.
It was his first game since being injured in the 2-1 defeat at Crewe in August.
The Bantams could have no complaints about the defeat, although the scoreline slightly flattered the Terriers.
This was due to City wasting several very good chances in an open game which, on the balance of play, could easily have finished 8-5 to the home side.
Ian Lawson grabbed a hat-trick while impressive youngster Delroy Facey grabbed two goals to complete City's heaviest defeat of the season in Pontin's League Division Two.
Nigel Pepper was unlucky not to score from three clear opportunities, while Gareth Grant hit the post and both Edinho and Mark Meeham went very close to scoring on two occasions apiece.
Striker Robert Steiner hobbled out of the action after picking up an injury in the first minute.
