Bradford's planners have given the go-ahead to a proposed office and industrial park off Castlefields Lane, Crossflatts, Bingley.
In a 43-name petition, residents objected, saying Castlefields Lane would be too narrow for industrial traffic, that the site was covered in trees, the drainage system was already overloaded and access to the A650 would be impossible.
Planners also approved an outline development of six houses on land at Langley Lane, Baildon. Residents objected due to a lack of privacy and the danger posed to pedestrians.
Ward councillor John Cole (Lib, Dem) said: "I have very strong reservations. I'm concerned about the amount of traffic it will generate."
