The success of a partnership between business, local groups and Bradford Council is to be highlighted at a meeting of a regeneration committee.
Keighley Councillor Barry Thorne has praised the achievement over the year of Keighley Town Centre Management, which has focused on smartening up the town centre.
A progress report of the work is due to be presented at the council's regeneration committee meeting on Wednesday, which will outline the range of activities carried out by the TCM group, backed by Keighley's Single Regeneration Budget board.
Earlier this year the partnership scooped a national award for town centre regeneration sponsored by Property Week magazine, beating off competition from 50 other towns and cities around the country.
Coun Thorne, chairman of the TCM partnership, said: "Great strides have been made in the town and this was recognises by the award success.
"We have now put together an exciting marketing package for SRB assistance which aims to build on the regeneration work started over four years ago at the start of the project.
"The local business community has a key role to play in realising the opportunities and potential which exists in the town and I would urge them to get more involved.''
Projects tackled so far include the production of a town guide, the launch of the Safe Child training scheme for staff working in local shops, a summer programme of street entertainment and creative projects involving local schools and students at Keighley College.
A number of environmental works, including landscaping and improvements to property frontages in the town centre, had also been carried out with SRB money, he added.
He revealed that work was expected to start next year on improvements to Carr Street.
