Over 200 people attended a health and safety exhibition and series of seminars organised by Keighley & District Training Association Ltd (KADTAL) at the Bankfield Hotel.
The seminars covered a range of topics including risk assessment, safety management systems, fire safety and health promotion in the workplace. Feedback from the company representatives who attended was very positive, says KADTAL general manager Ian Nichol.
He says: "The exhibition achieved our objectives of raising awareness among Keighley companies and removing some of the complexities that surround successful safety management. We are already considering repeating the event next year, and are planning to set up a Health and Safety Forum to provide on-going information to local companies."
