GUISELEY Reserves went behind in this game but after levelling then hit three goals in a ten minute spell to take a 4-1 interval lead.
Guiseley maintained the pressure in the second-half and added three further goals.
There were hat-tricks from Craig Bower and Julian Wilkes and the other goal came from Michael Jordan.
Manager's match points went to central defender Matt Daly and midfielder Richard Machell.
Guiseley Reserves are due at Ashton for the return game tomorrow night, Friday. They then look forward to a string of cup ties.
On Wednesday, November 11, they entertain Atherton in the League Cup - which is played on a mini league basis - and then on Saturday, November 14, they entertain Flixton again in the League Cup.
Saturday, November21, at home in the Wharfedale FA Challenge Cup when, as trophy holders, Guiseley take on Otley Town (3 pm).
