Keighley Albion U-16s 4 Ovenden U-16s 36
Albion competed well against a strong Ovenden pack in the first quarter with strong defence from both sides, newcomer Ammar Khaliq marking his debut with a scything first tackle. After this bright start things went awry for the home side and Ovenden scored the first of four tries in that half. After the break only a Richard Broughton try lifted the home support.

In a game played under ideal conditions the match was spoiled by handling errors made by both teams. The score at half-time was 10-8 to Hunslet with tries from Tom Haughey and Dave Hooley keeping Bingley in touch.
The second half saw Bingley start with promise but fall again into the careless mode with some sloppy handling, this was when the home side took charge. Peter Bingle scored the visitors' only points after the break. Man of the match was Steve Wrench supported well by Tommy Haughey and Peter Bingle.
Westgate Redoubt U-16s 24

Bingley U-14s 8
Underbank U-14s 70
This recently formed Bingley side had no answer to the power and experience of the visitors and only a Jason Battle try gave any respectability to the score at the break of 4-36. The second half was much of the same with Underbank rampaging down the slope. Captain James Grice kept rallying his players in attack and defence.
