Five men from the Keighley area have been arrested following allegations of a serious sexual assault on a 26 year-old woman in Halifax.

Police in Halifax said the men were being questioned about the attack which happened between 2am and 3am on Thursday morning in the Shibden area of the town.

''Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen a white Toyota Corolla car being driven in the area at about that time,'' said a police spokesman.
