A narrow road in Steeton could become a one-way street.
Queen Street backs on to busy Skipton Road, but some householders want to make it one-way because a number of cars park along one side making it difficult for cars to squeeze through.
Now, residents are being given the opportunity to have their say about the unadopted road before the parish council makes its representations to Bradford council highways experts.
Parish councillor Margaret Moor-house says she has been approach-ed by one householder about making the road one-way.
"To me it's a logical conclusion that we make it one-way, but it's really up to the residents to decide," she says.
"You come out onto a very busy road and it's all very narrow because of the parked cars."
However, one Queen Street resident, who does not wish to be named, is against the plan. "I would prefer it to be access-only because some drivers tend to use it as a short cut," she says.
