Keighley's Bronte Caravan Park has won a top award for the quality of its showers and toilets.
The park, open for only two seasons, has been awarded a Cannon Hygiene 1998 Loo of the Year Award in the holiday parks category.
The scheme is run in conjunction with the English, Scottish and Welsh Tourist Boards and the award will be presented at a ceremony in Harrogate on November 25. The national winner will be announced then.
Washroom hygiene specialists Cannon introduced the awards in 1987 with the aim of encouraging the highest possible standards in all types of away-from-home and public toilets.
Bronte Caravan Park was nominated by a customer and its toilets were judged, among other things, for accessibility, cleanliness, decor and functional equipment. The main toilet block includes a room for families and disabled people, a laundrette, wash-up area and vegetable preparation facilities.
Owner Mr Danny Parker, whose son Danny is responsible for the toilet facilities, says he is 'excited' by the award.
"This shows we are an asset to Keighley," he says. "I hope this is the first of many awards to come to the Worth Valley."
Mr Parker says the park's first season brought mainly weekend business to the area but 1998 attracted many caravanners for full-length holidays.
