A premature baby who weighed less than a bag of sugar when she was born has been allowed home for the first time.
Tiny Eleanor Jayne weighed just two pounds two ounces when she was born 12 weeks early.
Her parents, Caroline Rawlings, 25, and David Williams, 26, of Baildon, described her as a "Christmas present come early."
She has rapidly put on weight since coming home on Saturday and now weighs six pounds five ounces.
Miss Rawlings said her daughter was "truly special and a little star."
"It is unbelievable as she was supposed to have been born yesterday - but was actually delivered on August 29. She is our first child and we are so glad she is home," she said.
Miss Rawlings's daughter was delivered by emergency caesarean birth after she was admitted to Bradford Royal Infirmary maternity unit with high blood pressure.
After the birth, baby Eleanor was rushed to intensive care and then later to an incubator.
Miss Rawlings said: "We did fear she might die, but we just tried to keep positive and hoped she would pull through."
The 11-week-old baby will undergo a check-up on January 7 at St Luke's Hospital.
