A Brighouse copier servicing company is moving to Bradford - to benefit from Bradford Council-run training opportunities.
ABS UK Limited will open at premises on the Euroway Estate next month after being attracted by the city's added prestige and call-centre training.
The company, which services photocopiers, printers and computers, was set up nine years ago at Brookfoot Mill in Elland Road.
Owner John Lees said: "Brighouse is a lovely place but it doesn't have the kudos that Bradford can offer businesses.
"We've outgrown our premises and we were attracted by the training offered by Bradford Council.
"The Council's call centre training is nationally recognised. The packages Bradford Council has in place are just what a company like us desperately needs."
ABS UK started servicing photocopiers with a workforce of two salesmen and two engineers.
Now the company employs 34 workers and aims to increase its call centre from nine to 30 staff by next September.
Its customer base is made up of schools, solicitors' practices and other small businesses.
According to Mr Lees, the printer and copier industry underwent a revolution three years ago when printer manufacturers entered the copier market. He said: "It's gone from a relatively low-tech to a hi-tech industry over-night.
"The engineers who used to stick a screwdriver into the back of machines are now installing printers on to computer networks.
"It's incredible how things have progressed and it is down to the workforce that we've made the most of opportunities."
Councillor Dave Green, chairman of Bradford Council's regeneration committee, said: "We are delighted that this firm is impressed with what we can offer.
"We do everything we can for firms looking to locate in Bradford and we also try to provide support for those already here."
