Amateur Rugby League: It's crunch time at Bankfoot Cricket Club tomorrow when West Bowling welcome Queensbury in the Pennine Premier Division match of the day.

With both teams undefeated in the league, something has to give in an encounter that could have a huge impact on the title aspirations of both clubs.

Bowling are jealously guarding a proud home record since their move to Odsal, having only lost once in the Premier Division last season against Lindley Swifts.

They were in rampant form last week, demolishing Birkenshaw 68-0 in the Bradford Cup, and there are no changes to their line-up, although Richard Peel and Mick Gorman have been drafted into the squad.

Queensbury have been boosted by the news that a slot has been found for them in this year's Silk Cut Challenge Cup first round, as the Pennine League's third team, following withdrawals in other regions.

They are also bang in form, having won five out of five league starts and put Wibsey Sedbergh to the sword in last week's cup tie.

Their 10-9 win at home to Bowling last season proved the starting point of their recent successes, and they will be looking to repeat the dose tomorrow.

Scrum half Carl Smith and hooker Lee Burnett, both key players, are back after missing out last week.

Clayton will be looking for the double when they visit Elland following their 34-18 success earlier this term.

They got back to winning ways at Wyke last week after three defeats on the trot, but a long injury list is causing concern.

Their present line-up contains quite a few juniors, but experience could hold the key to the eventual outcome in what is always a difficult trip to Karl Fairbank's side.

Undercliffe could do their fellow Bradford clubs a favour if they can put a spoke in Lindley's wheel when they visit the Swifts.

Undercliffe lost by a very narrow margin at home and are boosted by the return of Dave Savage, who has recovered from flu.

In Division One Wibsey Sedbergh are at home to fellow strugglers Ovenden A, both teams sharing bottom spot after having lost all their seven starts.

Division Two Wyke earned plaudits for their determined display against Clayton last week, and will need to show similar mettle when they welcome undefeated Littleborough to Towngate. Wyke's ex-coach Andy Burd is back in the side.

West Bowling A should have too many big guns when they visit Boothtown Terriers in Division Three, and the Victoria Rangers' revival will be tested on their visit to a strong Halifax Irish in Division Four.

Division Five is proving a happy hunting ground for leaders Queensbury A, who should make short shrift of a young West Bowling B, while Shipley need the points at Rotherham A.
