THE dedicated team of supporters behind Ilkley's Warehouse Project would like some fresh input from Olicanians.
The Ilkley Youth and Community Association holds its annual meeting this evening at the Warehouse, Little Lane, at 6pm. Youngsters are already able to take advantage of the facilities on offer there but parish councillor and chairman of the Association, Coun Roy Fox (Lab, Ilkley South) said: "We want Ilkley residents to really get behind a big effort to give the youngsters what they want."
Practical and financial help is needed with the planning and costing of the conversion of the Warehouse's biggest room into a disco with sound recording facilities, and Coun Fox hopes some new faces at the meeting will help bring about an even brighter future for The Warehouse.
There has been talk of possible Lottery funding applications and Coun Fox hopes enough money will eventually be raised, through a variety of sources, to add a sports hall to the building.
