Rugby league enthusiast Paul Hardwick expects play for West Yorkshire for the second time.
Paul, 13, took part in a trial for West Yorkshire Schools under-13's team at Dudley Hill, Bradford this week. Two years ago he was chosen to play for the under-11's team.
The South Craven School pupil had to pitch his rugby skills against those of Huddersfield and Dewsbury players to be selected. This trial followed a previous session held last week.
Paul plays for the Keighley Cougar Cubs as a loose forward. This year is his third season playing for the team -- a season which has so far seen only two defeats.
He says: "I am quite hopeful because I got picked two years ago and think I have a good chance of getting in."
The talented youngster was selected for the trials by Keighley schools coach Jeremy Crowther.
