Police are hunting a robber who snatched £70 in cash from a till at the Farm Food shop in Cook Lane, Keighley. The youth grabbed the cash as the shopkeeper opened the till thinking he was about to buy something, says a Keighley police spokesman. "He spent some time in the shop looking around and then went towards the till as if to pay for something," he says. "When it was opened he struck."
The attack happened at 5pm on Tuesday. The youth is described as white, in his early 20s, about 5ft 8ins tall and wearing a baseball cap, a green three-quarter-length coat and dark trousers. Anyone with information should telephone Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
